65eighty is a small, independent studio out of Adelaide. No publishers breathing down our necks, no focus-tested mush — just tight, characterful games made by people who still play them after work.
65eighty started the way most small studios do — with one person, too many ideas, and a spare room full of reference art. We're based in Adelaide, working in that gap between "hobby project" and "real studio," and we like it there. Every game we ship gets made by hand, tuned by feel, and playtested on the office dog before anyone else sees it.
We work mostly in pixel art and 2D — cheap to iterate on, hard to fake your way through. If it looks simple, it's because we cut the parts that weren't fun.
A 2D builder, launching on Android approx August 2026
Something small, sharp, and probably too hard. Early days.
We're a young studio building our slate. If you're a publisher or collaborator — this could be us, together.
We're always up for hearing from other devs, publishers, and Adelaide locals. Drop us a line.
